What is an online course?
A combination of course content and assessments that can be completed via an online education platform that you can log onto via your computer. We deliver high quality, fully supported “Virtual Training”. Real life virtual classroom coaching and mentoring sessions assist e-learners to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to their trainers and assessors, wherever they are in the world.
What is a Virtual Classroom?
Whilst a student is online they will have access to communication tools to that will allow them to communicate with a trainer and other students in real time.
How long does it take to complete an online course?
It depends on the level of course and your language, literacy and numeracy levels.
The level of previous experience you have in the course.
Level of commitment in doing the course.
The best method for completing the course is allocating your time via a timetable. You may discuss your study timetable with your trainer.
Do I have a time limit to complete my course(s)?
Access to online courses is limited. Time limits vary depending on the course; please see each course for information.
Do I get my own trainer?
At AOT we have a team of professional trainers. You may request the same trainer each time you call; otherwise any of our trainers will be more than happy to assist you.
Do you have a toll-free number I can call on?

Do I get unlimited support?
You may call to speak to a trainer at anytime during business hours. You may email any problems or comments to trainer@aot.edu.au
Where do I send my assessment?
- All short answer and multiple-choice questions can be completed instantly online.
- Documents that must be submitted as part of tasks are uploaded inside your course
- Usually all information concerning assessments will be located within each course, VHS tapes and DVD's for specific assessments are to be sent to:

How do I acquire a refund?
Please refer to our Student Handbook (page 9) for refund policies.
How to I apply for RPL?
You may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning/ Recognition of Current Competency (RPL/RCC) at any time during your progress through this course.
To apply for RPL/RCC Please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Download the unit's RPL document located within your course or from our website.
Step 2: After you have paid for your course you can contact an online facilitator on 1300 72 66 34 or by email to discuss your application.
Step 3: Assemble your portfolio and send it to:

Your RPL application will be processed within two weeks of receipt of your portfolio.
What is a Nationally Recognised Course?
All of AOT’s formal qualification recognised by employers across Australia.
The AQTF ensures that all Registered Training Organisation's and the qualifications they issue are recognised throughout Australia. To find out more about the AQTF, contact your state or territory registering body.
What is an Accredited Course?
An accredited course means a structured sequence of vocational education and training that has been accredited and leads to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification or Statement of Attainment.

How do I pay for my course(s)?
At AOT we accept a wide range of payment methods. If you pay for the full course upfront you will receive a 10% discount off the RRP.

Is payment secure?
We take special care to provide our customers with a safe, secure method of payment. We do not give out anyone’s credit card details.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment plans are available on the full price of the course and can be paid off over the duration of the course in monthly instalments. A non-refundable upfront fee is required. Please call 1300 72 66 34 for more details.
Once I've paid for my course(s) when can I access it?
Once AOT has received your payment you will be emailed your course login details almost instantaneously if during business hours.
Can I get a tax invoice?
Once AOT has received your payment you will be emailed your paid tax invoice.
Are corporate discounts available?
Yes, corporate discounts are available for employers who wish to pay for a group of 10 or more students.
