What types of Government funded training programs are available?

Existing worker / Job Seeker Traineeships

Existing worker Traineeships

Available to eligible employees with relevant skills, knowledge and hands on experience through structured workplace training. The employer may be entitled to receive a total of up to $4000 for any staff training for a traineeship.

Parents returning to Earning

Parents returning to Earning

This Victorian program provides support to parents to return to work after an absence caring for children. Grants of up to $1000 are available which can be used to cover any costs associated with training, such as books and materials, course fees, transport and childcare. All AOT courses are available through the Parents returning to earning program.

Productivity Places Program (PPP) in WA

Productivity Places Program (PPP)

The objective of this program is to fund training that will improve the skills of existing workers in industry areas that address identified skill shortages and build foundation skills and pathways for people looking to gain employment.

The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) Productivity Places Program (PPP)

The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) Productivity Places Program (PPP)

helps eligible unemployed people to start and run their new, viable small business. NEIS provides you with training in small business management and business skills. Having a business plan helps when you approach banks or credit unions for finance.
